These bacteria's are transforming the death skin which occurs between the toes and on the foot sole by digesting to amino acid, methionine, methanethiole, which has sulphur scent. Propionic acid is found on foot sweat samples. This acid is the fragmentation product of the amino acid done by the propionic bacteria’s. Isovaleric acid and the activity of methyl butanoic acid staphylococcus epidemidis bacteria are other sources of foot odor.

What is bromhydrosis?
Occurring of odor after extreme sweating. Bacteria occur by foot sweat, closed shoes and heat. Bacteria’s are causing odor.
